Legacy Link Cares exists to make sure that no family is left financially devastated by the loss of a parent. We believe protection shouldn't be a privilege. By funding real life insurance coverage for qualifying low-income households, we help families face the hardest days with dignity — covering a loved one's final expenses and safeguarding their children's future.
About the program

Too many hardworking families go without life insurance simply because they can't fit it into a tight budget. When a parent passes, the result is often crushing funeral costs on top of grief — and children left without a financial foundation.
Legacy Link Cares was created by The Legacy Link to close that gap. We fund life insurance policies for qualifying families and put licensed, caring agents in the community to walk each family through the process — at no cost to them.

Who qualifies
Coverage built for the families that need it most.
- Household income at or below the program's guideline (based on federal poverty guidelines and household size).
- At least one dependent child living in the home.
- Up to two parents or legal guardians in the household can be covered.
- Applicant meets the insurer's standard health requirements (handled during the application).
